Noted factionist Gangula Surender Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri alias, whose life was glorified along with Paritala Ravi’s, through Ram Gopal Varma’s Raktacharitra 1 & 2 has taken a bitter twist when he was murdered by his associate in 2011.
None other than his close accomplice Bhanu Kiran has planned to eliminate Suri and shot him from point-blank range while traveling in a car through Sri Nagar Colony, Hyderabad. A year and a half later after the murder, CID police nabbed Bhanu Kiran and sent him to jail. And tomorrow, Court is likely to pronounce judgment on the fate of Bhanu Kiran.
Like in other cases where the evidence is pretty weak, here Bhanu Kiran got implicated with chilling evidence including the gun that was used to kill Suri, SMSes he exchanged with other conspirators, and the witness given by film producer C Kalyan to the police.
As the forensic evidence strongly points at Bhanu Kiran’s direct connection to the case, he is likely to get convicted. Like the way Ram Gopal Varma has sung for that film, “Kattulatho saavasam, nettutitho samamptham”, sometimes the story will come to an end through law also.
