The Crime Investigation Department gave a hammer blow to Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu by arresting him in the much-talked-about AP Skill Development Scam. The investigation is after the former Chief Minister and grilled him for two consecutive days on this. CID is also dealing with other cases.
It is known that CID is probing the Amaravati Inner Ring Road case and Chandrababu Naidu is A1 in the case. Now the agency is said to have dragged Nara Lokesh into the case and mentioned him as A14. A memo was filed in the special ACB court on the same and the arguments are expected to begin soon.
The AP CID authorities are said to have filed a memo in the court mentioning Nara Lokesh as A14. Chandrababu Naidu, former Minister Narayana, and others are already accused in the case and now Nara Lokesh was added.
Chandrababu Naidu is already fighting to get an anticipatory bail in the case. Amid this, Nara Lokesh’s name popped up in the case. Now we have to wait and see what happens next.
After the government was changed in the state special focus was kept on the decisions taken in the previous tenure. Amaravati Inner Ring Road is one of them and it is alleged that the designs were changed intending to increase the land rates in the region.
