It looks like young and talented hero Naga Shaurya can’t seem to catch a break these days. None of his films that came out in recent times managed to become a hit. His recent release ‘Lakshya’ got released amidst decent expectations but failed to secure a positive talk. Trade sources claim that ‘Akhanda’ which was released two weeks back is getting better collections than Naga Shaurya.
The ‘Chalo’ actor played the role of an archer in this film and even developed a six-pack look. The movie did not have the necessary emotions and failed to engage the audience. Sources claim that the film is expected to head towards massive losses.
Not just this film but his previous release ‘Varudu Kaavalenu’ too met with the same verdict. The collections were bad despite the decent talk. Barring ‘Oh Baby!’ in which he played an extended cameo, all his films like ‘Kanam’, ‘Ammammmagarillu’, ‘Narthanasala’, ‘Aswathama’ and the two releases this year have failed badly.
The back-to-back disasters are sure to have an adverse effect on the young hero’s career. Despite all the hard work, his efforts are going to be in vain and the experts are suggesting that his script selection needs to be taken care of. Shaurya has ‘Phalana Abbai Phalana Ammai’, ‘Nari Nari Naduma Murari’, a film with Anish Krishna and ‘Police Vari Hecharika’ in his hands. These films need to be successful at the box office in order to survive in Tollywood. Hope Naga Shaurya recovers from it.
