Shocking: Varmaa, Tamil Remake Of Arjun Reddy Scrapped

In a daring move, the makers of Varmaa, Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy scrapped entire movie as they were not satisfied with the version shot by famed director Bala.

“We at E4 Entertainment are not at all happy with the final version handed over to us and due to various creative and other differences, we have decided not to release this version. Instead we will start afresh, and shoot a new Tamil version of Arjun Reddy with Dhruv as the main lead by staying true to the soul and intention of the original,” Producers made it official through a press release.

Dhruv, son of Chiyaan Vikram will be retained, but the other cast and crew will be replaced. This is something unheard of as producers never scrap entire product after the first copy is ready.

This will be a heavy burden on them, but E4 Entertainment took a daring step to scrap the film, which didn’t meet their expectations.

Wonder what Vikram has to say about this. Bala was the director behind Vikram’s stardom with movies like Sethu and Pithamagan.

Vikram wanted Bala to launch his son as an actor, but the acclaimed director was shown the door in an unexpected turn of events.
