Shraddha Kapoor, who is currently busy with copious amounts of projects in hand like Saaho, Chhichore, Baaghi 3 and Street Dancer 3D, is said to have made an exit from Saina Nehwal’s biopic drama.
The reason is, the actress could not manage dates with so many projects and hardly finds time for the shooting. Earlier, Shraddha made a sedulous effort in adapting the mannerisms of Saina and took intense training in Badminton tricks.
The film is being directed by Amole Gupte and as per the director, the actress did a lot of hard work to look like a shuttler on-screen. The latest news is that actress Parineeti Chopra has been roped in place of Shraddha for the biopic
The news has been officially confirmed by the producer Bhushan Kumar. He said, “We want to wrap up Saina by this year-end for an early 2020 release, so going ahead with the project is a decision taken by mutual consent. We are glad Parineeti has come on board for the film. Saina has made every Indian proud and we can’t wait to take her story to the world in the year of the Olympics.”
In the past, Shraddha’s first look from the biopic has been unveiled and it created a huge buzz. Even while suffering from dengue last year, Shraddha has worked hard 24/7 for the film. Also, the actress used to text and send live videos to Saina directly if she had any queries about the game. Nevertheless, it was so certain that Shraddha could easily pull off the challenging role. But, now Parineeti is in full pressure to live up to people’s expectations.
