The increase in the number of positive cases has not stopped yet in India and here is a new shock in Telangana. A group of Siddipet residents recently visited Thailand and the tour guide there appears to have tested positive with Coronavirus.
The media houses have confirmed the same after getting in contact with the tour guide, Chung, who is now being treated for the virus. Telangana minister Harish Rao is informed about the situation and he is following the necessary steps to quarantine all the tourists.
These visitors to Thailand planned their travel through Ravi travels in Hyderabad and most of them belong to Siddipet. There were residents of Karimnagar, Asifabad, Manchiryala, Choppadandi among the tourists to Thailand. All these toured Pattaya and Bangkok from February 29 to March 3rd, while Chung was tour guide just for tourists from Siddipet.
The Telangana govt’s swift action to quarantine and test them is not yielding anything so far, as the tourists were intimated by the travel agency about the infected tourist guide through WhatsApp, all 22 of them left the group and have been avoiding any contact with the travel agency.
In another such case, 7 more positive cases are being reported in Telangana, as one from seven of the Indonesian citizens tested positive. With this, the total number of cases in Telangana reached 13.
