As we all know, Netflix has announced long back that it will be making a prequel series to the popular ‘Baahubali’ movie franchise. Based on the book named ‘The Rise Of Sivagami’, they are making this series named ‘Baahubali: Before The Beginning”. The Netflix team wasn’t satisfied with the content which was given to them and decided to reshoot it entirely with a fresh cast and crew.
Wamiqa Gabbi replaced Mrunal Thakur as the main lead ‘Sivagami’. The regular shooting has reportedly begun and seems like Wamiqa has perfect the art of sword fighting. She posted a video on Instagram where she is seen fighting with her trainee in full swing. She captioned, “I don’t rest in between my shots. (P.S. I could not afford to).” Since it is made in the backdrop of the Mahishmati kingdom, we all know it involves a lot of action sequences. Sivagami character is known for her strong will and fighting abilities. As Wamiqa Gabbi is playing the younger version of Sivagami, she needs to perform a lot of action sequences and this video proves that she is not going to disappoint us.
As said before, Nayanthara is playing an important role in this series and more details are expected to come out regarding this most-awaited project.
