As the YSRCP is preparing for the sensational CBI investigation on the alleged Amaravati Land Pooling illegalities, here comes the MP from their own party to keep them busy in defending the allegations on the ruling party leaders over the hundred of crores scam on the name of house plots distribution to the poor in the Godavari districts.
YSRCP rebel MLA Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju complained to the center that his own party leaders involved in a massive scam. He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister in this context. During the last rainy season, the Rajahmundry Aava lands were stagnant by eight feet. Apart from that one place, in many places in the two Godavari districts, there are allegations that very cheap lands were pooled in by the YSRCP government for huge prices.
Raghuram Krishnam Raju has successfully brought all these to the attention of the Prime Minister. MP Raju also wrote a letter to the Prime Minister explaining how the land scam, sand smuggling, and corruption are taking place in government schemes. The Prime Minister’s Office sent the letter to the Union Home Ministry, directing it to take appropriate action. Home Ministry in turn has sent the same information to the Chief Secretary of AP Government to conduct an inquiry and submit a report.
The letter was received by the AP government on the 24th of last month. But there was no response from the government yet. With that Raghuram Krishnaraja attached a copy of the letter and wrote another letter to ACB DG Sitaramanjaneyulu. The letter that was sent to Prime Minister strategically by MP Raju as the ACB won’t incline towards the allegations on the political leaders. So, Most will definitely look into this massive scam without giving any second thought.
The talk in the AP political circles is that the YSR Congress sensed the intentions of Raghu Rama Raju and started to support BJP in the parliament to get away with these huge allegations. However, the report from the center is that Modi is irked with this delay from the AP government in preparing a report on the allegations, and sooner or later he may direct the union ministry and the concerned authority to take care of the alleged land scam.
