Sonu Sood tweets in support of Goa students seeking board exam postponement

Actor Sonu Sood’s tweet on Tuesday in support of students in Goa is winning hearts. It is well known that Class X and XII CBSCE students demanded centre to postpone board exams in many states owing for alarming rise in Covid-19 cases. With that exams were deferred.

But Goa state government didn’t give a green signal for it and continued conducting exams, scheduled from April 24. This created hue and cry among students, opposition leaders and parents. Many youngsters vent out anger by seeking help from Sonu Sood on twitter. The actor who is well known for philanthropic activities and comes forward for any social cause had once again shown a kind gesture by lending support to Goa students.

He tweeted, “When all over the country the exams are postponed there is no way it should be held in Goa and other states, I request @EduMinOfIndia to kindly requests the remaining states not to put lives of all these students at risk. We have a bigger battle to fight now. #postponeexams2021,” he tweeted on Tuesday, after a student, Shreyash Desai, tweeted to him requesting Sood to bring notice of the issue to Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

The national students union of India and also state NSUI president Ahraz Mulla thanked him in a tweet for extending his support.
