Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh. Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan in Tamilnadu. Upendra in Karnataka. All these movies stars have recently stepped into the political turf and ready to wage a war in the upcoming 2019 general elections.
While a lot of South actors are busy choosing politics as their next step, even the actresses are following the leads. We have the likes of Kushboo, Manchu Lakshmi and Ramya (Kannada) getting ready to test their luck in the soon to come elections. What about Bollywood in this aspect?
Probably after the flop show of Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and also shotgun Shatrughan Sinha, not many stars have shown interest to come into politics. Though Ritesh Deshmukh campaigned for his brother and late father, he never turned to khaddar clothes. Other likes of Salman, Akshay, Aamir, Shahrukh, Ajay Devgan and others neither speak about politics, nor they give any such feelers.
Despite the fact that many superstars are between the age of Pawan Kalyan and Rajnikanth, none from Hindi arena are having interest in politics. While South stars are aggressively kicking the waters, Bollywood counterparts are just lying back, sleeping. But a safe game, isn’t it?
