King Khan Shah Rukh Khan used to be the face of Bollywood for a very long time. He ruled the roost for nearly two decades and his films created a lot of records. But his choice of scripts over the past few years was quite bad, to say the least. Starting from ‘Dilwale’ to ‘Zero’, none of his films did well at the box-office and damaged his market completely.
He took a two-year break from films after the disastrous result of ‘Zero’ and started working on ‘Pathan’ in the direction of Siddharth Anand. The film is in the last leg of its production and a lot of people are curious about his next project.
As a matter of fact, legendary filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was supposed to director SRK’s comeback film but it got side-lined and ‘War’ director Siddharth Anand came into the picture. Many thought that his next film is going to be with ‘Sanju’ director but SRK reportedly gave his nod for a full-length commercial film with South Indian director Atlee.
Post ‘Raja Rani’, Atlee delivered super hit mass films like ‘Mersal’, ‘Theri’ and ‘Bigil’. He is traveling with Shah Rukh for the past two years and the script has been locked and insiders reveal that this film may go on floors from August. It will be bankrolled under SRK’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’ banner. The official news is expected to come out soon.
