The clinical panel established by AIIMS has ruled out poisoning as a potential reason for death of late entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput. As per credible sources, the panel has shared its ‘definitive assessment’ with the CBI, evidently expressing the possible reason and way of death.
Dr Sudhir Gupta, chairman of the board, disclosed to a news channel that the supposition can’t be imparted to anybody, including the media, as the case was sub judice. “We have communicated our medico-legal opinion in the issue plainly and convincingly to the CBI,” he said.
The medical board officials said it took more than a month to arrive at a conclusion on the cause and manner of death as the post mortem’s videography wasn’t available. A little bird said that the hospital hasn’t even provided photos of body dissection during an autopsy.
The AIIMS report on SSR’s autopsy is continued to be validated by the CBI investigation. The agency will possibly continue its probe into “abetment to suicide”, a charge that was initially listed by the Mumbai police.
Reports say doctors of AIIMS Panel has indicated lapses made by the Mumbai hospital that performed the autopsy and said it is too early to decide whether it’s a homicide or suicide.
