Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has demanded a thorough probe into a contradictory statement by Dr Sudhir Gupta, who was spearheading an AIIMS panel re-assessing the actor’s post-mortem report.
Shweta shared a media channel report that alleged Dr Gupta had earlier figured out lapses in the Mumbai Police’s investigation into Sushant’s death. He also claimed it as a murder but soon took a volt and said that the actor died by suicide. This raised suspicion on the doctor’s credibility.
Dr Sudhir recently had labelled the report ‘conclusive’. He further stated, Bombay Fornsic lab and AIIMS toxicology lab has not found the presence for any seductive material in the viscera of the actor. The complete analysis of ligature mark over the neck was consistent with hanging.
However, earlier in a media channel the doctor has openly questioned Cooper hospital for not keeping Sushanth’s case intact and also claimed foul play.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has took the matter seriously as lawyer Vikas Singh raised an issue by insisting the special investigation team to form new forensic team. It is waited to be see if the officials continue the probe despite getting conclusive reports in the actor’s demise.
