One of the happening and super expensive singer right now in the south is none other than Sid Sriram. This USA based Tamil origin guy has shot to fame with ‘I’ movie song and has now rendered many super hit Telugu songs that have millions of views on YouTube.
From the last couple of weeks, apparently Sid is not available for music composers to render his voice for their songs. Though the singer is very much in India, he’s not giving time to any, including the likes of Thaman, to record songs. So, what’s the reason?
We hear that some prominent businessmen of Tamilnadu are said to have organised some devotional meets at which Sid Sriram is said to be doing some kacheris. Singing traditional songs and classical music at these events, he’s said to be getting paid for a single event the price he charges for singing 3-4 songs. In that case, why would he cancel those assignments to sing cinema songs?
Like we mentioned it already, recently Thaman replaced Sid Sriram with Anurag Kulkarni for a song in Venky Mama movie.
