Yesteryear stars like Sobhan Babu and Murali Mohan bought a lot of lands, farms and houses during their prime in order to be financially safe after growing old.
The current crop of star heroes are not trying to hide their businesses from the audience these days. Apart from making good money, they are finding ways to enhance their brand as well. Mahesh Babu joined hands with Asian Group and started AMB Cinemas which was a huge success. We all know that he has GMB Entertainments banner too. Vijay Deverakonda teamed up with the same Asian Cinemas group and started a multiplex in Mehabubnagar which is running quite successfully.
Allu Arjun took Satyam theatre in Ameerpet and remodeled it into a multiplex with five screens. He partnered with Asian group and developed it. They are bringing new technology into it. Even Ram Charan has a production house named ‘Konidela Production Company’ and bankrolled a lot of his dad’s movies these days. He used to own an airline company too and recently collaborated with ‘UV Creations’ banner and started ‘UV Mega Pictures’ production house. Even Niharika Konidela owns her own production house these days.
