Subramanian Swamy files Rs 100 Cr defamation case on ABN Andhra Jyothi

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has alleged that false propaganda has been going on about the Tirumala temple for some time now. A media house has claimed that Christianity is being propagated in TTD.

The MP, who visited Tirupati, on Wednesday filed a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore in the court against the media houses which were spreading slander against TTD. Andhra Jyoti, who has been publishing false articles to tarnish the image of TTD, has now landed in legal trouble with the defamation suit. Swamy also reminded that he never lost a defamation suit in his life.

Speaking on the occasion, Subramanian Swamy said, “Andhra Jyoti is spreading false propaganda about the TTD. I strongly condemn this. The media house is under the impression that former CM N Chandrababu Naidu will protect it, but the veteran leader himself has no public support.”

Subramaniam Swamy said that after YS Jagan became the CM, there was a lot of false propaganda against TTD. He said he would go to the high court over the remarks made by former CM Naidu against TTD. He said there were massive irregularities in the TTD during Chandrababu’s reign. He demanded that TTD accounts be audited with CAG for the last five years.
