With no big films coming out in the weekend, some small films with notable actors have tested their luck at the box office. The most surprising one of the lot is the popular television host and comedian Sudigali Sudheer’s ‘Gaalodu’. The movie got very good openings considering Sudheer’s market and the target audience showed up at the theatres and registered good openings for the hero.
Sudheer has a lot of craze among the youth and we can see it in every video he appears as the comments sections are filled with praises on him. The collections of ‘Gaalodu’ showcase it once again to everyone and it may even end up in profits considering the low rates it was sold for. The collections are expected to slow down during the weekdays and it will be a big challenge.
Directed by Rajasekhar Reddy, Bheems Ceceiroleo is the music composer while Gehna Sippu is the heroine in this film.
Among other releases, ‘Masooda’ impressed horror lovers with an interesting approach. The collections are quite low but the talk is decent. Directed by Saikiran, Thiruveer is the hero while Sangeetha played the lead role.
Samantha’s ‘Yashoda’ slowed down drastically after the first weekend and there are no signs of improvement. Despite the good talk on the first day, this thriller movie is expected to end up with losses. In the sixth week of its release, ‘Kantara’ is still putting up decent numbers. It already got 377 crores across the globe and slowed down a bit compared to the previous weeks. The audience are now waiting for it to arrive on the OTT platform soon.
‘Black Panther’ got very good collections from the urban areas and the youth absolutely loved the film. The emotional attachment to the Black Panther character and Chadwick Bosman made this second part highly successful. Directed by Ryan Cogler, Angela Basset and Martin Freeman played the leads.
