Superstar Mahesh Babu is set to delight fans with a new and exciting venture. The actor will lend his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa in the Telugu version of the upcoming animated film, “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
This marks a significant departure from Mahesh Babu’s previous work, as he has primarily focused on live-action films throughout his career. While he has previously provided voiceovers for Telugu films like “Jalsa” and “Baadshah,” this is his first foray into voice acting for an animated Hollywood production.
“Mufasa: The Lion King” is scheduled to release on December 20th in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The Telugu trailer will be unveiled on August 26th at 11:07 AM, giving fans their first glimpse of Mahesh Babu’s voiceover.
The film follows Rafiki as he narrates the legend of Mufasa to Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala. The story unfolds through flashbacks, introducing Mufasa as an orphaned cub who encounters Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline. Together with a group of misfits, Mufasa embarks on a journey to discover their destiny, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles along the way.
Aaron Pierre provides the voice for Mufasa in the English version of the film, which is produced by Walt Disney Studios. Mahesh Babu’s involvement in the Telugu version is sure to generate significant excitement among his fans and add to the film’s appeal.
