Superstar Mahesh Babu is one hero from the South who had a good craze in North India even when the pan-Indian market wasn’t quite open. He was offered some good offers in Hindi projects but he rejected them. He made it very clear that he doesn’t want to leave Telugu cinema.
The media repeatedly asks this question and Mahesh gives the same reply every time. During the press meet organized for an App launch, Mahesh was once again asked about doing a straight Hindi film. But Mahesh gave a perfect reply to the journalist which drew applause from the people in that room.
He said, “Since you are coming from Bombay, I would like to say that there is no need to do any Hindi film now. I can happily do a Telugu film and it will be released all over. The same is happening right now. As far as I am concerned, I am happy doing Telugu films here.”
As we know, Mahesh is the hero in Rajamouli’s next project and it will be a pan-Indian project for sure. It will definitely be his first which will release on a national level though it is not a Hindi flick.
Currently, Mahesh is working on ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. It is directed by Parasuram who made hits like ‘Solo’ and ‘Geetha Govindham’ in the past. This film is produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainments banners.
Madhie who worked on movies like ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Mirchi’ and ‘Saaho’ is the cinematographer while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. Thaman composed the music and the first two songs ‘Kalaavathi’ and ‘Penny’ got a huge response.
Star heroine Keerthy Suresh will be seen romancing Mahesh in this project which will be hitting the screens on 12th May. There are high expectations on this wholesome entertainer.
After ‘SVP’, Mahesh will be teaming up with his ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’ director Trivikram Srinivas after this project. Haarika & Hassine Creations will be bankrolling this movie while Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Thaman will be composing the music once again.
