Surprise: KCR bats for we-writing Constitution!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister of Telangana Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao who earlier expressed his desire of foraying into national politics had done it yet again. His explosive press meet had hinted at his aspirations for one more time.

After the Union Budget was presented the other day, CM KCR gave his take on the same. He had slammed the budget saying that the Union government had shown empty hands to common people, farmers, and taxpayers.

Adding fuel to the opinion, KCR made many heads turn by making an appeal that the country needs a new Constitution. Giving a reason for this, the Chief Minister said that the existing constitution is not serving the current scenario.

Leaving the media personnel present at the press briefing in a state of shock, KCR said that he will not fight a lone battle in fighting for re-writing the Indian Constitution and he will seek support from other leaders by meeting them.

On the occasion, the TRS Founder Chief KCR had come down severely on the two national parties Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that BJP was elected to power as Congress had failed miserably.

Announcing his future actions of meeting like-minded leaders, KCR said that he will meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery to chalk out plans in this regard.

“We need to draft a new Constitution in India. Now there’s a need to re-rewrite the Constitution in India. I will meet all the leaders and will keep my point of view with them and ask them to fight alongside me,” the Chief Minister said.

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR is the first Chief Minister to react to the Union budget. Expressing severe dissatisfaction with the budget, KCR said that the minorities were left out of the budget. Calling the Union budget useless, KCR asked why the farmers and handloom sector was not given any mention in the budget.

It has to be noted that before the 2019 elections,KCR announced his decision to enter national politics. He even met a few leaders too. However, he did not take a big step in this and focused on Telangana only.
