Suspended doctor K Sudhakar passes away in Vizag

Suspended doctor K Sudhakar, an anesthesiologist at Narsipatnam government hospital, has passed away due to cardiac arrest Thursday late night. He was suspended last year on disciplinary grounds for alleging the government was not giving enough PPE kits and N-95 masks to the doctors.

The news of his untimely demise came into light very late, as his family members had passed on the news only a few relatives and friends. He was 55. He is survived by a wife and two sons.

Meanwhile, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has made the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government responsible for the death of Sudhakar. He even demanded the state to transfer Rs 1 crore as compensation for his family members. Reports suggest that the doctor’s entire family was very disturbed because of the delay in the outcome of his case, which was lodged by the CBI.
