Ending a day of suspense over the release date of S3 (Yamudu 3), the much awaited third installment of Singam franchise, Suriya has finalised the film’s release date. The film is now going to hit the screens on Feb 3, a week after the previous release date of Jan 26.
After seeing three release dates earlier, finally producers have fixed Feb 3 as its release date and said that there won’t be any change in the plan hereafter. Originally the film is slated for Dec 16 release and it was postponed to Dec 23rd after request from Dhruva producer Allu Aravind. But due to special conditions then in Tamil Nadu, producers were forced to postpone the film to Jan 26th.
When everyone thought everything was fine and film would release as per plan for Republic Day, the ongoing Jallikattu protests have resulted in delay of the film. Suriya has postponed the movie by a week.
The high-budget action entertainer features Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. The film is directed by Hari who directed the last two installments. While Tamil version is being produced by Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green, the Telugu version is produced by Malkapuram Sivakumar.
Now, Suriya’s S3 is going to take on Nani’s Nenu Local that is also releasing for Feb 3.
