Tamannaah, who was recently on headlines for buying a plush sea-view apartment in Versova, Mumbai, is currently said to be in an embarrassing state. Earlier, the news arose that the actress bought the luxurious apartment for Rs 80,778 per square feet, which is double the current rate in that area. That means she has allegedly invested nearly Rs 16 crore for the house. But, the actress has now rubbished all the rumours on her house rate.
After copious amounts of articles appeared on her for paying double the price to buy a house in Mumbai, it is said that even Tamannaah’s Hindi teacher had texted her out of shock regarding the rumours. The actress said, “I told him, I’m Sindhi, how can I pay double the price for an apartment? After a while, it became embarrassing as people kept asking about it. I have bought a house, but I did not pay double for it. My parents and I will move into it once the house is ready. I just want it to be a simple, artistic house with an earthy look”.
Right now, Tamannaah is busy in Bollywood with two experimental movies and in South under Mahi V Raghava’s direction, besides long-awaited Queen remake.
