Tamil Star Hero’s Son To Get Launched With ‘Uppena’ Remake!

Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty’s ‘Uppena’ turned out to be one of the biggest box-office hits this year till date. The film is getting huge numbers and is on the verge of overtaking Ravi Teja’s Sankranti winner ‘Krack’. The intense love story won the hearts of many and filmmakers from other industries are also looking into this film for a possible remake. Sources say that a Tamil hero’s son is going to get launched with ‘Uppena’ remake.

Some of the producers in Tamil Nadu reportedly thought of dubbing it as it has Vijay Sethupathi playing the negative lead. But sources say that Vijay Sethupathi himself didn’t let that happen. ‘Uppena’ is a film that has a beach backdrop and sea plays a very crucial role in it. Hero will be seen as a fisherman in this movie but the lifestyle of fisherman here is different compared to how it is in Tamil Nadu.

So, Sethupathi suggested to change it according to Tamil nativity and remake the beautiful story. Apparently, he is looking to buy the remake rights and has plans to remake it with Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay. The youngster is 20 years old and the ‘Master’ hero’s fans are eagerly waiting for Sanjay’s debut. Apparently, Vijay liked the script very much but the final decision is yet to be made. We need to wait and see what happens.
