Telugu Desam Party leader and former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao is a typical politician. No one knows how he behaves and what comments he makes. Recently, he had created a big scene by trying to resign from his MLA post. He even made multiple requests to the Assembly speaker to accept his resignation.
While everyone is breaking their shells to know the reason behind his resignation attempt, Ganta Srinivasa Rao took everyone by surprise by calling for a press meet. During The press meeting, the Ex-Minister made some sensational comments and grabbed everyone’s attention.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao gave his take on the new Cabinet and said that he was not impressed with the cabinet and not just him, even the YCP leaders are not impressed. Citing the incidents of leaders expressing their anger, Ganta said he had never seen such a thing.
Taking a dig at YCP, Ganta said that the BCs have been a strong supporter and strong vote bank of TDP and no one can change the status quo. He asked the YCP government if the BCs will shift their loyalties to the YCP just for the Cabinet posts.
Not stopping there, Ganta made a sensational claim that before the forthcoming general elections, the political migrants will happen and many leaders from the YCP will join the Telugu Desam Party. Throughout the meeting, Ganta Srinivasa Rao tried to prove a point that BCs have a special place for TDP in their hearts and no matter what, this will not change.
Since the inception of TDP, BCs were given support by the party. Many BC leaders in both states were once groomed and supported by the grand old TDP. BCs have been supporting the party for the past few decades. Will they extend their support for the party once again, we have to see in the next polls.
