TDP MP from Vijayawada Kesineni Nani, who doesn’t lose any opportunity to attack the YSRC government in Andhra Pradesh on social media and through public statements, made a special request to chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday.
He made an appeal to the chief minister through Twitter to get repairs done to the Chanumolu Venkat Rao (CVR) flyover in Vijayawada to avoid discomfort to the commuters every day. He attached a media report to support his request.
“Chief minister Y S Jagan garu.. Can you please get the repairs done to this flyover? The people of Vijayawada will be indebted to you,” Nani tweeted, tagging the chief minister and also the CMO to his tweet.
The CVR flyover in Vijayawada apparently has developed big potholes causing a lot of inconvenience to the commuters. Since it connects the national highways with the inner ring road, a lot of buses and private vehicles pass through this flyover.
This was built jointly by state roads and buildings department and the Union ministry of railways, but is being maintained by Vijayawada Municipal Corporation. Repairs are not being done due to lack of coordination among these three organisations, Nani said.
