In less than 24 hours after chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy claiming to win 175 MLA seats in the 2024 elections, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu reacted sharply.
Naidu asserted that his party would win the 2024 elections and wrest power in the state.
He reiterated that no one would be able to stop the TDP’s victory in the next general elections as people are vexed with the present government.
He discounted the claims of chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy that the YSR Congress would win all 175 Assembly seats in the next election.
“Why would people vote for the YSR Congress? What is Jagan’s contribution for the state in the last three years?” he asked.
Chandrababu Naidu dared Jagan Mohan Reddy to come for a debate on health, education, irrigation, agriculture and Nadu-Nedu programmes in the state.
The TDP chief, who addressed the party mandal unit presidents from the party office in Mangalagiri on Thursday, asserted that people were regretting to have voted for Jagan in the 2014 elections.
“Those who have defected to the YSR Congress from the TDP have now become inactive and are regretting,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Chandrababu Naidu claimed that people of all sections were waiting for the 2024 to send Jagan and his team home.
“No one is happy. Not a single section of people is happy and safe,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
