Multiple reliable reports claim that cinema halls across the twin Telugu states will be resuming operations right from July. As expected, 50% occupancy regulation will be put to effect in theatres, at least for the first few weeks.
Now that theatres are scheduled to re-open the makers of Telugu biggies are contemplating prospective release dates.
The latest we hear is that the makers of Chiranjeevi’s Acharya are eyeing October release for the film. They plan to release the film in theatres this Dasara, 15th October if the conditions favour. Else, the film is likely to be released by the end of October. The unit is planning to get back to work next month and wrap up the remaining shooting part.
The final call will be taken after the final cut is readied and the conditions at that point in time favour new theatrical releases. Needless to say, the film will release in October only if the state governments permit 100% occupancy in cinema halls.
