After running the government for more than two months without allocating the ministries, except Home Ministry to Mahmood Ali, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to induct 10 ministers into his cabinet on 19th February. He also sought the appointment of governor Sri Narasimhan for swearing in ceremony of the new ministers.
So going by the latest political reports, CM KCR’s second term is going to be a mixed bag of juniors and seniors in the cabinet. It looks like KCR has worked on all the dynamics of caste, region and other equations to handpick his ministers.
So far, 10 legislators have directly received a confirmation straight from CMO:
1. Koppula Eshwar
2. Jagadeeshwar Reddy
3. Niranjan Reddy
4. Prashant Reddy
5. Errabelli
6. Malla Reddy
7. Indrakaran Reddy
8. Etela Rajendar
9. Talasani Srinivas
10. Srinivas Goud
While four of them (Etela, Talasani, Jagadeesh Reddy and Indrakaran Reddy) were part of KCR-I government, six others are new to cabinet. Surprisingly, none of the KCR’s family members (Harish Rao and KTR) received the cabinet rank and also it looks like KCR has yet again ignored women into his cabinet.
