The IAS Officer had extended her wishes to the handloom weavers marking the occasion of National Handloom day.

The Handloom sarees made in Telangana are quite famous not only in the state but outside the state too. People visit handloom centres and buy sarees from them.
The famous handloom styles available in Telangana are Gadwal, Kothakota, Pochampally, Narayanpet and Gollabhama.
The National Handloom Day is celebrated across the country which is dedicated to respect the community and acknowledge their hard work.
