Telangana has reported 199 corona positive cases in a single day, which shows no signs of reduction. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed concern about this pathetic situation. She tweeted today morning that she worries and is very concerned about the surge in cases. On the other hand, despite the control measures from government, Corona has infected doctors, frontline health workers and even the police. In a tweet, she urged every one to fight more strongly to fight this disease.
Two weeks ago, Telangana seemingly appeared to be in control of Corona. The government itself announced that in Hyderabad it is only spread in four places and the rest of the state is Corona free. However, the covid-19 cases have come up in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. Within a few days the situation in Hyderabad markedly changed.
Earlier Governor also discussed about the COVID-19’s incidence and the sudden spurt of cases with vice chancellor of KNR health university Karunakar reddy. Reddy notified that the spike in cases was mainly owing to individuals attending functions such as birthday parties, and majority of the cases sprung up either from a single family or from migrated labour.
In Telangana health experts and epidemiologists believe that the number of sample tests should be increased and claimed that government providing relaxations and making unnecessary tests is not the right thing to do. The total number of cases in Telangana is 2698. 82 people died. 1188 people are being treated in various hospitals
