With the overwhelming success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo songs ‘Samajavaragamana’ and ‘RamulooRamulaa’, music composer Thaman’s stocks have soared up.
Especially, the ‘Ramuloo Ramulaa’ number has become a rage and it went onto set a record an All Time Record in South by becoming ‘Most Viewed South Indian Song’ in 24 hours as it garnered 8.3 million-plus views in a day. This has given boost to talented musician Thaman.
On flip side, Devi Sri Prasad, who was at No.1 position, seems to have dropped his ranks. Whereas music directors from other languages are dominating and they are bagging big projects. As of now, Devi has Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. Even DSP’s work in Maharshi hadn’t met the expectations. It is learnt that Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi’s film (Chiru 152) hasn’t gone to DSP.
Amidst this, DSP is losing his sheen and charisma. DSP needs a killer album to make a grand comeback.
