Doctors said that the health condition of Sasikala, who was admitted to a hospital from prison with respiratory problems and back pain, has deteriorated.
She underwent RTPCR tests twice at the Bowring Hospital in Bangalore and got a negative report. Since the hospital did not have a CT scan,a she was rushed to Victoria Hospital.
A CT scan of her showed corona positive. In addition, she has Blood pressure and diabetes.
Doctors at Victoria Hospital said that Shashikala’s lungs were damaged. She is currently being treated in the ICU and her health is deteriorating.
Sasikala’s imprisonment will end in a few days. She would be released from jail on the 27th of this month.
