The Legacy Creators Then & Carriers Now!

With the demise of superstar Krishna, the old generation of the Telugu film industry is definitely gone now. Legendary actors like Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, Akkineni Nageswar Rao and Ghattamaneni Krishna have entertained the people for over 3-4 decades as huge stars. Apart from being the heroes, they were pioneers in their own ways.

NTR became the Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and played a key role in moving Tollywood from Chennai to Hyderabad. He encouraged a lot of actors and producers and the Nandamuri family is producing heroes who are doing great.

Akkineni Nageswar Rao did the same and built Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad which is still the go-to destination for many movies. Apart from the studios, they have film schools that provide numerous talents to the film industry in all crafts of filmmaking. Nageswar Rao left a huge legacy which was carried ably by Nagarjuna till date and the legendary actor’s grandsons have now become established heroes in Tollywood.

Superstar Krishna is a visionary in every way. He is an actor, writer, producer and director. He made the first east man colour film in Tollywood, first cinemascope film in Tollywood, first 70 mm movie in Tollywood, first DTS movie in Tollywood and even brought new genres to the Telugu film industry like cowboy films and spy movies.

With the three of them passing away, their legacy is now being carried by the next generation who are making their mark in the industry. While Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest stars in South India, NTR is considered as the best actor in the current generation and gained pan-Indian market after ‘RRR’. Naga Chaitanya is also on his way to becoming a big hero in the industry.

A photo of Mahesh, Chaitanya and NTR Jr sitting together after the demise of Krishna went viral. A fan made a beautiful edit of showcasing a picture of Krishna, NTR and Nageswar Rao together and placed the click of Mahesh, NTR Jr and Chaitanya together. This click is currently going viral and people are saying that the younger generation will carry the legacy created by the greats even further.
