The center is looking to bring people’s lives to normalcy at a slow pace. Already special trains have been allowed to run from tomorrow covering all parts of the country. With the new relaxations, road transport has also gathered some good pace. Now, the theatres are all set to open which have faced a terrible loss in all these lockdown days.
Even though the theatres get opened very shortly, the audience might not show interest in the theatre screening anymore. In this lockdown, they got to know the advantage of digital streaming through OTT platforms. Of course, the fear of this pandemic won’t go away that easy in the near future.
After all, the theatres won’t run that as efficient as before. While the business has taken its worst hit in recent history, stakeholders say that even after the lockdown, people may take months to overcome their fears and enter crowded theatres in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On the other side, as the shootings of many new movies were halted, there won’t be any new releases in the near future. They should screen the old and repeated movies for some period. Students will have online classes and the employees will have to take care of the pending files.
The economical status in many families is also not looking good and they think twice to spend on a movie which has become a luxury these days. Though the owners have opted for ‘seat distancing’, the COVID-19 scare resided in the minds of the people very firmly and it would take so much time for the normalcy under present circumstances.
