Superstar Mahesh Babu is hunting for young talent rather banking upon the senior directors. Mahesh is not keen on working with the frontline directors after having bitter experience with Spyder and Brahmotsavam. He is throwing the ball to young filmmakers who are waiting for a big chance so that they would put in extra efforts to make the opportunity count.
Mahesh took a chance by roping in Anil Ravipudi for Sarileru Neekevvaru in spite of the latter having no experience in handling a biggie prior to it. It paid off and Mahesh is looking to take more such risks with young directors. Parasuram, who hasn’t made a film over Rs. 20 Cr budget in his career so far, is all set to direct Mahesh Babu’s next.
Buzz has it that Mahesh is in talks with young directors like Venky Kudumula. Interestingly, Puri Jagannadh or other senior directors that are hoping for a sitting with Mahesh are not getting his appointment. Mahesh made some mistakes in the past because of being obligated to work with some directors. He doesn’t want to repeat such mistakes as he is able to deliver commercially viable films with his current strategy.
