Director Ramesh Varma on Tuesday unveiled the title poster of his next venture Rakshasudu 2 and announced that the movie is going to be more thrilling than its prequel, which released in 2019.
Announcing the film, the makers revealed that a big star will play the lead role in the movie. The latest buzz is that South India’s acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to play the protagonist. It is heard the Master actor liked the story and given his nod for joining the cast.
However, Sethupathi hasn’t signed the project yet as he wants to make sure that he has enough dates to allot for Rakshasudu 2, before signing it.
Rakshasudu 2, which comes with the tagline ‘Hold your breath’, is likely to go on the floors shortly. The bilingual film, which will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, is produced by Satyanarayana Koneru under the banners of A Studios LLP and Havish Production.
The film has music by Ghibran, while Venkat C Dileep is on board as the Director of Photography.
