That Telangana CM KCR is a master politician is never in doubt. He is perhaps one of the rarest politicians who can run with the hare and hunt with the hound. He is on one hand trying to extend a hand of friendship to the BJP by visiting Delhi. On the other hand, he is also trying to get pally with the Congress. At the same time, he is talking about a non-Congress, non-BJP Federal Front.
He has staunchly opposed the BJP in the recent GHMC and Dubbak polls and at the same time, he is seeking an appointment with Modi in Delhi. He has criticised the Congress and has now joined hands with the Congress Party on the issue of farm bills. He has in fact led the nation-wide bandh in Telangana on Tuesday. Sources say he may join hands with the Congress to arrest the growth of the BJP in Telangana.
At the same time, he is in touch with regional leaders like HD Kumaraswamy of Karnataka. There are also reports that he is in touch with leaders like Navin Patnaik and Mamta Banerjee. His stated aim is to form a Federal Front with non-Congress and non-BJP political outfits. There is not much headway in all the three endeavours. But, he is able to confuse everyone and keep everyone guessing about his next move. That’s typical KCR politics.
