This Is What The Big 4 Said About The Complaints!

A lot has been discussed about the theatre business and how dubbing films should not be given the first priority over straight Telugu movies. The Producers Council talked about it in front of the media and people expected bigwigs like Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind and Dil Raju to take part in these press meets. Instead, they revealed their opinions in talk shows which were quite surprising.

During the interaction with Radha Krishna on ‘Open Heart With RK’, Dil Raju opened up about the distribution process in Tollywood and how many theatres are under his control. He even questioned Producers Council’s views and backed himself of releasing his dubbing film ‘Varasudu’ on a grand scale alongside Megastar and Balayya’s films.

Allu Aravind responded about being ‘The Big 4’ in the industry. He said, “When theatres are dying, and the business is going down, it’s we who took theatres and modified them to suit the needs of audience and started exhibiting more films. Literally, we have revived the theatres, so there is nothing like we own (or lease) many theatres when we did help the business thrive. So accusing that we have theatres is wrong.”

Suresh Babu told, “Back in the day, my production ventures never used to get theatres in Nizam. That’s when I started acquiring theatres. Even now, big films will get theatres based on their relationship with distributors and exhibitors. Some films will suffer. And some people will blame us, but I will not be worried about it. Depending on the relation between producers, their distributors and exhibitors, each film will get theatres. Surprisingly, we are not distributors of any of those movies.”

Both of these producers talked on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Unstoppable’ show.
