Collecting almost 45 crores gross in its first weekend from box office across the world, Venky Mama has done the unthinkable. Despite average reviews and ratings, people started endorsing this comedy entertainer that has two heroes, two heroines and some interesting scenes. And now, how much more Venky Mama is going to collect is what trade circuits are talking about.
Actually, Venky Mama has only three more days left including that of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It has to mint the maximum in this time, as four films are hitting this Friday including Prathiroju Pandage, Ruler, Donga and Dabangg 3. These four films not only take some theatres of Venky Mama but also stand in the competition, as they give a lot more choices for audiences to pick up tickets.
If Venky Mama could survive that competition, surely the film could easily make 75-80 crores gross in the long run, is what Suresh Babu is said to be believing in. Let’s see what happens.
