Maharashtra state Minister for rural development, Pankaja Munde, who is the daughter of late Gopinath Munde, targetted Rahul Gandhi in return to the Congress leaders often questioning on Balakot strikes. After hearing Congress’ repeated remarks and taunts on Modi, Pankaja stated that a bomb should be tied around Congress president Rahul Gandhi and sent to another country for asking proof of IAF airstrike on Jaish-e-Mohammed training camp in Pakistan’s Balakot area.
She said that the Modi government did surgical strike after CRPF jawans were brutally attacked. But some people kept asking where is the proof for the surgical strike. “I say we should have attached a bomb to Rahul Gandhi and should have sent him to another country. Then they would have understood,” said Pankaja Munde.
Pankaja is the Women and Child Welfare Minister of Maharashtra and she uttered these words while addressing a rally at Jalna parliamentary constituency on April 21.
After Balakot strikes, several opposition leaders like Kapil Sibal and Mamata Banerjee raised questions and doubts over the airstrike and its impact. Now, Pankaja’s remarks are stirring controversy as it came out as a shocker. Earlier too, she made controversial statements on changing the constitution and bringing new bills.
