The US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, who arrived India at 11.50 am in the morning, have soon en routed to Sabarmati Ashram, accompanied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Simultaneously, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar shared the pictures of all-set Motera Stadium on Twitter, ready to welcome Trump. Also, the viral pictures of Trump and Modi hugging each other soon after the couple’s arrival is trending on the internet.
Parallelly, the US President and First Lady arrived at the Sabarmati Ashram with Modi by 12.30 pm and Trump is seen removing his footwear before entering the Ashram. Trump wrote, ” To my great friend Prime Minister Modi…Thank You, Wonderful Visit!'” in the visitor’s book at Sabarmati Ashram.
Mr and Mrs Trump stayed in Gandhi’s Ashram for nearly 20 minutes, followed by Trump spinning Gandhiji’s iconic Chakra. Also, Modi explained Gandhi’s three monkeys to the couple to which they listened meticulously about the unknown deets.Trump came to India along with wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and top brass of his administration.
