Sukumar seems to be taking a big risk with the first instalment of the Pushpa duology. He is experimenting with the antagonist role in the first part of Pushpa by roping in comedy actor Sunil.
The last time Sunil played a genuine villain role in a commercial film was for Ravi Teja’s Disco Raja. Things did not pan out as planned and the audiences didn’t quite receive Sunil as a crooked antagonist.
But that did not stop Sukumar from casting Sunil for the antagonist role in a high-stake project like Pushpa. Will the risk pay off? We will have to wait till the film releases.
Pushpa unit recently commenced one of the final schedules in Hyderabad and Allu Arjun took part in the same. Once the Hyderabad schedule is wrapped, the unit will fly to Goa for a crucial schedule and can the remaining portion.
