Ali is one of the veteran comedians in the industry. He established himself as one of the prominent talents by trying various roles like comedian, character artists. He has a good track record as a hero too. In the fantasy drama Yamaleela, Ali stepped into the shoes of a hero and scored a stunning hit. Over the years, Ali appeared in over 1,000 films across the languages.
As one more feather in his cap, he was honoured with a doctorate. The KL University in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh had honored him with an honorary doctorate on Saturday and an event was held to facilitate the actor on the occasion.
Ali addressed the gathering after receiving the honorary doctorate from the university authorities and expressed his happiness on receiving the doctorate that too in his native place Rajahmundry. I feel this as a big honour, he said.
Ali also surprised everyone by talking about the controversial online ticketing system and the ticket fares and opined that he has the hope that the issues will be sorted out soon. Chief Minister Jagan is positive towards the issues, he said.
The Actor-comedian also showered praises on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and called his ruling super. All the communities in the state are happy with the ruling. Concluding his speech, Ali expressed his wish of receiving a Minister post from the government.
