Top 5: Vaikunthapuram Dominates, Disco Raja Fails!

1) Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo: Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is not just the winner of Sankranthi clash but also has become the new benchmark for Non-Baahubali films.

The film has collected around Rs. 135 Cr share in its fifteen days run at the box office and is still looking solid for a longer run.

AVPL dominated the box office right from its day 1 and hasn’t slowed down despite a notable release like Disco Raja.

2) Disco Raja: This science fiction action thriller was expected to give a break for Raviteja who has been going through lean phase post Raja The Great.

Disco Raja turned out to be a half-baked film that is neither here nor there. It is heading for a disaster at the box office as it failed to draw decent audience in its first weekend.

3) Sarileru Neekevvaru: Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru has crossed the magical Rs. 100 Cr mark at the box office and is set to breakeven shortly.

It has had a decent weekend to help it get over the 100 cr mark. The film will end up at sixth place on the all-time list of top money spinners at the box office.

4) Entha Manchivadavura: Kalyan Ram’s attempt at family drama failed to yield desired result at the ticket windows.

The film couldn’t sustain the heat of Sankranthi biggies and ended up as a failure.

5) Street Dancer 3D: This dance based movie from Varun Dhawan – Remo D’Souza duo has once again proved its worth by netting around Rs. 48 Cr in its opening weekend.

It has topped the Bollywood box office by taking away the top seat from Ajay Devgn’s blockbuster period drama Tanhaji.
