Recently, a movie titled ‘2018’ was released in Kerala and it is creating records at the box-office. The floods of August 2018 were the most destructive to hit the Kerala state in nearly a hundred years. At least 483 people lost their lives and tens of thousands of people were moved to relief camps for several days.
Based on these true incidents, acclaimed director Jude Anthony Joesph made ‘2018 – Everyone Is A Hero’ which earned more than 100 crores already. The movie has Tovino Thomas playing the lead while Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, Narain, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Siddique, and Joy Mathew played prominent roles. It came out on 5th May and is doing exceptionally well in both national and international markets. The movie showcased every scenario starting from fishermen to people who were rescued through helicopters.
Thanks to its stupendous result, the makers are planning to release it in other languages too. Top producer Bunny Vas is going to release this movie in the Telugu states and Geetha Film Distribution will handle the business in the Nizam area. This banner has been dubbing supreme content from other languages recently and scoring big at the box office.
