TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy house arrested

It is a known fact that TPCC president A Revanth Reddy alleged that there were irregularities in the e-auction of Kokapet and Khanamet plots conducted by the Telangana government.

Now, the police placed Revanth Reddy under house arrest at his residence in Jubilee Hills in the wake of Congress party protest against the government-auctioned land. The officials are trying to prevent the Congress leaders from going to visit the lands.

Revanth Reddy’s office issued a statement saying that he was to go to Delhi for the Parliament session, but police were deployed outside his house from 3 am and he was stopped from going out.

On the other hand, the Police stated Reddy was planning to go to Kokapet, and they took this step as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order.

Revanth Reddy earlier said that if the KCR government does not respond to these charges in a few days, he will lodge a complaint with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard.
