The trade body Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has pinned high hopes on the upcoming wedding season which will start in a few days. The apex trading community is predicting that the wedding season might generate a huge business of over three and a half lakh crore revenue.
Ahead of the wedding season, the trade community Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) conducted a survey on the business and the survey said that the season would bring huge profits to the tune of lakh of crores. The estimated cost of these weddings is between 3 lakhs to one crore.
A lot of things go into wedding purchases from gold to sarees to gifts to function halls. There is a big chain that gets rotated. The families of the couples buy things that range from gold to dry fruits to clothes to what not everything. The costs of these products have increased these days and business generated in the wedding season would be in lakhs of crores.
The first phase of the wedding season would start on November 14 and would end on December 14. In just one month, the industry is expected to generate a huge income of over three and a half lakh crores and the amount is huge.
The second leg of the wedding season would start a few months later and the second season is also expected to generate big income in that season too. This will surely boost the industry which went through a rough path for over two years due to the Covid impact.
