Mega hero Varun Tej’s upcoming film “Antariksham” is likely to take you over to space in its maiden journey that starts on December 21st. But where did the film’s trade will go to? They say the makers are aiming the moon.
Considering the film’s different genre and the point that it has neither fights, comedy nor any masala songs, many distributors and buyers have opted out of releasing this film. And as they are quoting pretty lower rates, not even the 23+ crores ‘share’ Varun’s Tholiprema made at the box office, the producers of Antariksham took a superb call.
Now, Antariksham will be released by the producers themselves all over in the Telugu states. We hear that a mere 16 crores were spent on the film, including remunerations, visual effects and making costs. And if the film is off to a fantastic start with superb talk of mouth, then producers will be in profits very soon.
However, with a film that has an unconventional theme, this is like aiming to the moon from the earth. We have to see what happens.
