Trade expects the collections of ‘Katamarayudu’ to pick up on Ugadi day (March 29th). It’s too early to say how well the new releases ‘Rogue’ and ‘Guru’ would fare at the Box Office.
‘Katamarayudu’ is certain to collect Rs 50 crore Share by the end of its full run. Even ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ managed to join Rs 50 crore club despite being so poor content-wise. These statistics only indicate the Box Office stamina of Powerstar.
Usually, Star Heroes consider their films amassing Rs 50 crore as an achievement. Films of some of the Top Stars aren’t even able to cross Rs 35 crore-mark if there is poor word-of-mouth. Even disasters of Powerstar joining Rs 50 crore club is a remarkable achievement.
